Shaun Shaichuphong is a passionate and committed music producer that goes by the producer name of "SS FLO" derived from his initials and given nickname from his close group of best friends. Shaun is accompanied with the talent and high drive to succeed based on his pure love of music and what it means to him. Growing up amongst the vibrant and diverse music scene in Bangkok and listening to many genres ranging from Rock, Hip Hop, R and B at a young age, was the start of his passion and inspiration for making sounds from playing instruments furthermore, creating beats later on. Notable Works: Origins Ep.
Executive produced and mix/mastered by myself (SS FLO), this is the first ever official project/Ep. that kickstarted Réjizz's and SS FLO's career. This project was compiled of different types of beats that were produced by SS FLO which were handpicked by him and rapper Réjizz himself. The concept of "Origins" is related to the true meaning of the word, in where everything musically started for both artists in their careers. This project is a mixtape of different styles and vibes that showcases the range and dynamic style of the producer/rapper duo, which would later on become a foundation of both of their sounds. Below is a series of music videos used during the promotional campaign of Réjizz's and SS FLO's Origin's Ep. Each providing different sets of storylines that communicates different vibes and meanings that was intended for the audience. I was able to feature in some cameos as a visual figure in some of the on set productions in the videos and had a great deal of fun while furthermore learning a lot about the process.

Track Spotlight: New Beginnings
Eventually through time, we were able to garner some small attention with the release of Origins Ep. leading to Réjizz to be contacted with several record labels. In conclusion, a record label called Odd Fellas record label signed Réjizz to become one of their up and coming stars. This led to my very first record label placement project, in where I produced/ mixed the instrumentals of the track upon it's release. With the dynamics of the track we later on released an acoustic version of the track aswell in where i featured as the guitar player down below. 'New Beginnings' was the headlining track for Réjizz's sophomore and debut album 'No Dreamer' with the label, which had led to different experiences in playing live shows and also selling merch. This was a very proud achievement for me as I enjoyed every bit of the process of making this track come to life.
Overseas Collaboration: Project Tanzania ft. Arakay
I was blessed with the opportunity to help create a sound with a rapper from across the globe from Tanzania and he goes by the name of 'Arakay', i met this rapper through a networking post in instagram in where i had to comment what type of music I do and who do i wan't to work with for example rappers, singers, visual artists etc. Ever since Arakray contacted me through direct messages via Whatsapp, I knew of his sheer love and determination in making music, I then later on started sending him beats for him to record onto. Arakray would always give his best in sending back his voice recordings for me to mix and master onto my instrumentals. This eventually led to me making tailor made exclusive beats for Arakray which later on gave the rapper a signature sound that was gradually known by his local people.

I Got Money is one of the first tracks produced by Bangkok producer for up and coming Tanzanian underground rapper Arakay, whom talks about the grind and hustle of making money inside his local neighbourhood in the streets of Tanzania. The beat combines sample chops from an African choir which gives the track it's African roots along with the modern day trap bounce implemented by SS FLO.
LEFT: I Got money created a small wave in african countries and so Arakay was able to compile and form a small community of African rappers that wanted to collab on the track. In this case we had rapper 'Petersboy' from Zimbabwe releasing a remix of the track. All instrumental rearrangements are done and mix/mastered by SS FLO
RIGHT: From Nigeria rapper 'Vevo Sasco' from also asked permission to release a remix of the track. All instrumental rearrangements are done and mix/mastered by SS FLO
The track eventually led to Arakay being interviewed and getting an interview + stream session in a couple of his local radio stations in his country. This was a very proud moment for me as he talks about the working proccess between me and him in where we are from different parts of the world, but technology and love of music connects us. On the left he introduces the track to GoldFm88.7 and on the right to Huheso Fm 104.5
Furthermore this project is a work in progress, I and Arakay plan to release more music in the future to help create another type of sound for Arakay's culture to indulge in. Below is one of our recent tracks called 'NGOJA' that we released. All instrumentals produced and mix/mastered by SS FLO
Official Thailand 3x3 Basketball league Soundtrack:
I was blessed with the opportunity to be apart of a project in where Hip Hop music was used to promote Thailand's official 3x3 Basketball league in my country. The project was called the 'Thai Ballers' iniative and I produced on 2 tracks that still up to this day opened everytime There is a competitive match or tournament. I learned alot from the process as I had the oppurtunity to work with many artists along with communicating with a proffessional recording engineer over at the studio. Along with my passion for the sport of basketball, this opportunity have taught me alot of things and no words can describe how proud I am to be apart of this project in where my craft is put to use to help promote one of my favorite sports in my home country.

BANGKOK BEAT CYPHERS: SS FLO
This past year I've been blessed to DJ and open my unreleased beats to a crowd over at a music hub and bar over Goja on Phra Khanong road. It all started with the Bangkok beat cypher team giving me an invite to open a 30 minute setlist and I have enjoyed every single opportunity ever since, as i love when the audience reacts and bounce to my beats. Below is a collage of clips from the cypher sets I performed at, all shot by different point of views from the audience that I'm highly grateful for. At the end of the day it's all about having fun and enjoying ourselves with the vibes we create.
SS FLO BEAT TAPE 01: The Crimson Tape
SS FLO's first ever beat tape compiled of different feelings along with the modern day bounce. This tape is almost like a miscellaneous mixtape of multiple vibes that comes to SS FLO's mind at the time of cooking up. From atmospheric sample chops to signature guitar recordings, this tape has the full flavour of SS FLO's signature sound and the origins of his experimental selection of phonics.
SS FLO BEAT TAPE 02: Go With The Flo Vol 1. The Kosatka Tape
BEAT TAPE CONCEPT: At the time when I first started making beats for this project I thought about how life sometimes works in full unison like waves. You have your good times and bad times just like how calm or heavy the tides can be.
Life Sometimes can come at you like waves from the vast ocean, one moment your trapped in a midst of a typhoon, next thing you know, through perseverance, you're slow cruising out into the sunset after the storm. Hence, why the beats are placed in sequence to reflect life's tough moments and uncertainties, but we always have a chance to get past these rough waves and overcome them like a champ. The beats start out with a sense of adventure and unknown uncertainty and gradually transitions to uplifting and then calm feelings of relief knowing that we can keep our head high through our journey in life.
SS FLO BEAT TAPE 03: The Kosatka Tape Side II
BEAT TAPE CONCEPT: This is the side II of my first Go With The Flo series and for me the vibes and concept on this one is just all around good vibes while you are cruising out into the sunset with your loved ones. This is centered around different types of sample chops along with my signature bounce and percussion that I always try to implement different according to each beat. Along with the recording of a saxophone my dear friend, which gives the beat tape another mellow soulful dimension to the instrumentals of the project.
SS FLO Behind The Scenes Sessions: Sax Recording
Behind the scenes footage of me undergoing the process of recording and editing the Saxophone parts to one of my ongoing projects to be released his year. The video gives a brief insight of how me and my fellow music colleague Mr. "Jamie Saxman" work together on a track. We both give each other views and opinions on each recorded layer and which to keep/leave out in the track to point where both recording artist/ producer is happy.
